Now as a 5 star deluxe resort – it might seem too elegant for children, but it is one of the Mauritius resorts that is refined, sophisticated, yet wonderfully relaxed and family-friendly. The kids’ club is beautiful and fun, offering a variety of engaging activities. The beach is quiet and safe, perfect for little ones to swim. The resort has a games room with table tennis, pool, virtual reality, PlayStation, and board games, as well as a movie theatre with scheduled showings. Dining is on another level, with a kids’ menu as delicious as the main offerings. The combination of luxury, family activities, and a breathtaking backdrop of Le Morne makes this a truly memorable experience.

This popular resort is pure perfection and one of my favourite Mauritius resorts. The lush tropical gardens are ideal for little ones to explore, and the beachfront rooms with private pools are perfect for enjoying the island scenery while kids nap. The kids’ club offers daily age-appropriate activities, and babysitters are available for parents to enjoy a carefree dinner. Dining is exceptional, with specialty à la carte restaurants – my favorite being Mahiya, serving the most delicious Indian cuisine. Water sports are plentiful, and evenings come alive with live music, DJs, and sega shows. This resort captures the true soul of a Mauritian holiday.

The pool here is perfect for children, a whole shallow section that’s safe and fun for the little ones separated but part of the main pool, and DO go try out the oversized day bed in the pool.

5. Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

Set on the Le Morne Peninsula, is another of the Mauritius resorts that offers breathtaking views of Le Morne Brabant mountain. Like other Beachcomber resorts, it has a kids’ club, water sports, and entertainment. The beach is stunning, and the dining is exceptional – especially the Mauritian restaurant La Ravanne, where you can enjoy your meal with your feet in the sand to live island music. A unique bonus is access to Dinarobin Resort next door. A short buggy ride expands your options – Paradis has a lively vibe while Dinarobin offers a quieter, serene atmosphere.
